Azimganj Girl Yashi Jhabak is now a Doctor

Yashi Jhabak is qualified as a doctor to practice in India. She is the daughter of Sri Dinesh and Sudipta Jhabak who completed her schooling up to Class 12 at Netaji Subhash DAV School in Jiaganj. After excelling in the NEET exam, she earned admission to Perm State Medical University in Russia as an MBBS student.

Graduating with outstanding marks, she was awarded a gold medal for her exceptional performance during medical studies. She has successfully cleared the FMG exam on her first attempt, recently in 2025, officially becoming a qualified doctor to practice in India. 

We, the Shaharwali of Azimganj-Jiaganj-Murshidabad are proud of Dr. Yashi! We wish her long life and a successful career!!

Dinesh Jhabak, father of Yashi is son of Hari Ji, daughter of late Sri Ajay Singh Ji Kothari of Azimganj. Dinesh Jhabak is among the few who still live in Azimganj and successfully run his own business.
