Riju Srimal has become a Senior Foreign Affairs Officer in the US

Congratulations! MS. Riju Srimal has become a Senior Foreign Affairs Officer in the US. She belongs to the famous Shrimal family of Azimganj. Sri Neptune Srimal, her father, left Azimganj and settled in America long back.  He is a lecturer at Florida International University in the US. We, as Azimganjite, are proud of both the father and the daughter. Smt. Sangeeta Srimal is her mother. Riju Srimal, presently, is living in Washington DC, the capital of the US.

First, I have written a blog post congratulating her in 2009 when she completed her Ph. D in Neuroscience. I wished more success and achievements in her life on that blog. Now, she has made the Shaharwali society proud of her achievement.

Late Sri Hari Singh Ji Srimal, her grandfather lived in Azimganj and Kolkata and was well-known in the society. He was a Jain scholar and used to conduct marriage rituals with Jain Vidhi.
