अजय बोथरा एवं रविन्द्र श्रीमाल तुलापट्टी, पंचायती मंदिर कोलकाता के लिए निर्वाचित

मुर्शिदाबाद शहरवाली समाज के श्री अजय बोथरा एवं श्री रविन्द्र श्रीमाल तुलापट्टी, पंचायती मंदिर, कोलकाता के लिए हुए चुनाव में निर्वाचित हुए हैं. ये दोनों ही अजीमगंज के हैं एवं वर्त्तमान में कोलकाता में रहते हैं. श्री अजय बोथरा श्रीचंद जी बोथरा के पौत्र एवं श्री रविन्द्र श्रीमाल श्री कांतिलाल जी श्रीमाल के पुत्र हैं.

यह चुनाव १० जनवरी को जैन भवन में संपन्न हुआ. जैन समाज के लगभग ११०० लोगों से इस मतदान में भाग लिया.शहरवाली समाज के कुल चार लोगों ने इस निर्वाचन में भाग लिया था जिनमे से दो चुने गए.

श्री शांतिनाथ स्वामी पंचायती मंदिर, तुलापट्टी, कोलकाता में परंपरागत रूप से दो सदस्य शहरवाली समाज से, दो सदस्य जौहरी साथ से एवं तीन  सदस्य कोलकाता मारवाड़ी साथ से चुने जाते हैं. इस वार भी उसी के अनुरूप चुने गए हैं.

अजीमगंज श्री नेमी नाथ स्वामी स्तवन

जैन श्वेताम्बर मूर्तिपूजक समुदाय के खरतर गच्छ परम्परा में, श्री सुख सागर सूरी के समुदाय में पूज्य श्री हरी सागर सूरी  आचार्य बने. उन्हें अजीमगंज में महोत्सव पूर्वक आचार्य पद प्रदान किया गया. उस समय अजीमगंज श्री नेमी नाथ स्वामी के मंदिर में अस्टान्हिका  (अट्ठाई) महोत्सव का आयोजन किया गया. उस अवसर पर मंदिर की शोभा का वर्णन करते हुए श्री जगन्नाथ पटावरी ने एक स्तवन लिखा था. यह स्तवन स्तवनावली एवं प्रभु भजनावली में भी मुद्रित है. यह भजन एक ऐतिहासिक दस्तावेज़ भी है.

Pratishtha in Saithia

 Saithia is a place near by Azimganj in Birbhum district. Pratishtha of the Jain temple is accomplished in the auspices of Sadhwi Shashiprabha Sri ji on December 13, 2009.

It is the first Shikhar vaddh Jain temple in Saithia.  It is worth to note that Jogi Pahadi, upsarga sthal (Chandkaushik sarp) of Lord Mahavira is situated near Saithia.

Marriage of Arihant Nowlakha in Hyderabad

 Congratulations!!

Arihant Nowlakha, son of late  Alok Nowlakha will be married with a Hyderabad girl on December 12, 2009. Marriage ceremony will take place in Secunderabad, Hyderabad. Arihant is grand son of Sri Kewal Chand Nowlakha, Azimganj.

Alok Nowlakha, father of Arihant had shifted to Patna from Azimganj and died in a bomb blast while going to Rajgriha.

Arihant Nowlakha had been in Vardhaman Gems, Jaipur as apprentice and then shifted to Hyderabad for business.

Ms. Shilpi Bachchhawat, daughter of Sri Bijay Pal Singh and Shrimati Lalita Bachchhawat has been married to Mr. Binod Baid, son of Sri Shital Chand Baid on December 2, 2009.  Both families are from Azimganj. Binod lives in Tokyo, Japan and in Gems and Jewelry industry.

Ms. Punam Bachchhawat, daughter of Ajay Pal Singh and Shrimati Bani Bachchhawat will be married to Mr. Saurabh Gandi, son of Sri Pradip Gandhi of Kalpi, UP on december 9, 2009.

Shilanyas (Shila Sthapna) at Azimganj Dadabadi

Azimganj Sri Sangh organize programm of Shilanyas (Shila Sthapna) at Azimganj Dadabadi on December 3, 2009. Shila Sthapna (Laying foundation stone) ceremony will be conducted in the auspices of Sadhwi Shashiprabha Shri ji.

Sona Chand Baid of Azimganj will laid  the main  foundation stone in the center. There will be eight more foundation stones to be laid in four sides and four angles.

Anil Choraria, Uttam Kumar Golechha, Sanjeev Nakhat, Bhupal Chand Rekhawat, Kishor Kumar Nowlakha, Nirmal Chand Choradia, Shashi Nowlakha and Dhanpat Singh Dugar families will laid these eight foundation stones. They are doing these in memory of their forefathers.

Shilanyas (laying foundation stone) will be at 7.30 AM on December 3, 2009 followed by Dadaguru Puja at 11.30 and Sadharmi Vatsalya (Lunch) hosted by Sona Chand Baid.
