सिताब चन्द प्रसन्न चन्द बोथरा परिवार के सम्वन्ध में कुछ नए तथ्य

शहरवाली समाज के एक प्रमुख परिवार बोथरा परिवार के श्री विनोद चन्द जी बोथरा कल जयपुर में मेरे घर पधारे थे और उनसे उनके परिवार के सम्वन्ध में कुछ नए तथ्य जाने  को मिले।  श्री विनोद चन्द जी बोथरा शहरवाली समाज के स्वनाम धन्य श्री परिचन्द जी बोथरा के सुपुत्र एवं श्री प्रसन्न चन्द जी बोथरा के पौत्र हैं.

उन्होंने बताया की अजीमगंज में श्री सिताब चन्द जी बोथरा का अपना कोई मकान नहीं था और वे किराये के मकान में रहते थे, उनका परिवार काफी बड़ा था. उनके घर में कुलदेवी आदि की अनेक मूर्तियां थीं परंतु उन्होंने निश्चय किया की उनके घर में केवल अरिहंत परमात्मा की पूजा होगी अन्य किसी की पूजा की कोई आवश्यकता नहीं है; इसलिए उन्होंने बाकि की सभी मूर्तियों को गंगा जी में विसर्जित कर दिया। तबसे उनके घर में कुलदेवी या भैरव जी आदि किसी की पूजा नहीं होती है।

श्री सिताब चन्द जी बोथरा अल्पायु में निधन हो गया तब उनके ज्येष्ठ पुत्र श्री प्रसन्न चन्द जी बोथरा को उनकी माता जी बहादुर सिंह जी सिंघी के यहाँ कोल्कता ले कर आ गई, यह प्रसन्न चन्द जी की मासी का घर था और यहीं उनका लालन पालन हुआ. प्रसन्न चन्द जी बोथरा ने कोलकाता में पात की दलाली का काम शुरू हुआ और धीरे धीरे काम जम गया. उनके तीनो पुत्र श्री परी चन्द जी, श्री चन्द जी व गंभीर चन्द जी भी इसी काम में लग गए. उनके बड़े लड़के पारी चन्द जी ने  १९४५ में जियागंज में पहला मुकाम खरीदा और प्रसन्न चन्द बोथरा ऐन्ड सन के नाम से कारोबार शुरू किया। इस कारोबार में उन्होंने बहुत नाम एवं पैसा कमाया। उनके छोटे भाई श्री गंभीर चन्द जी बोथरा भी उनके साथ इसी काम में लगे थे.

दूसरी तरफ मझले भाई श्रीचंद जी बोथरा ने प्रसिद्द ब्रिटिश कंपनी A. M. Mair को खरीद लिया और जुट की दलाली करते रहे. तीनो भाई पारसी बागान में पिता द्वारा खरीदे मकान में ही संयुक्त परिवार में रहते थे. बाद में परीचन्द जी एवं श्रीचंद जी ने डोवर रोड (देवदार स्ट्रीट) में नया मकान बना लिया और गंभीर चन्द जी पुराने मकान में ही रह गए.

Sourav Kothari is selected for Arjuna award

Manoj Kothari (Father) training Sourav Billiards 

Sourav Kothari is proud of Shaharwali society who won the prestigious Arjuna award this Olympic year 2016. Arjuna award is the highest honor in India for outstanding sports activities and performances.  He proved the proverb "like father like son". Manoj Kothari, his father, won the world title for billiards long back (1990) and Sourav is following the path paved by him. Recently, I met Manoj Kothari in Kolkata, a proud father, who told me about the journey of Sourav. He is a national coach in India and also coaching in four other countries. Obviously, he is coaching his son too. 

Sourav is the current National champion in billiards. He won the Asian gold, the national title, and the World bronze in 2014 the best year for Sourav. Presently, he is number 3 in the world ranking in Billiards and world number 5 in 6-Red Snooker. 

I, on behalf of the Shaharwali society, congratulate both Manoj Kothari, the father and Sourav Kothari, the son on this proud moment both for their family and our community.

Pankaj Bothra has created NCLT, a great web portal for Corporate law

Pankaj Bothra of Jiaganj has created New Corporate Law Treatise, NCLT, a great web portal for the Corporate law. Pankaj is a law graduate, practicing in Delhi High Court and a Company Secretary. He has his own law firm "Veda Legal" in New Delhi.

New Corporate Law Treatise, NCLT, has excellent features. It contains almost anything and everything about the corporate law in India; right from the Corporate act 1956 and Corporate act 2013 to rules, draft rules, notifications, circulars, orders, guidelines, standards, and what not.

There is a compare section in the web portal to compare act 1956 with act 2013, that is extremely useful for all corporate law professionals. The news section includes the latest news on the corporate world. In fact, this is a great web portal and I like to congratulate him for his effort.

#NCLT Advocate Pankaj Jain, CS at Veda Legal 

Pankaj Bothra alias Pankaj Jain is a grandson of late Sri Bahadur Singh Bothra, a renowned footballer from Jiaganj, and son of Sri Urmila and Jyoti Singh Bothra. He is a Shaharwali and Shaharwali community members are doing well everywhere.

रंजन नाहर, अजय बोथरा एवं रविन्द्र श्रीमाल कोलकाता बड़े मंदिर में चुने गए

कल २६ जून रविवार, कोलकाता तुलापट्टी स्थित बड़े मंदिर के चुनाव २०१६ में शहरवाली समाज के लोगों ने सफलता हासिल की है. कुल सात ट्रस्टियों में से शहरवाली समाज से तीन,  रंजन नाहर, अजय बोथरा एवं रविन्द्र श्रीमाल ट्रस्टी के रूप में निर्वाचित हुए हैं। सामान्य परंपरा ये रही है की  शहरवाली साथ से २, जौहरी साथ से २ एवं मारवाड़ी साथ से ३ ट्रस्टी चुने जाते हैं. परन्तु यह केवल परंपरा है कोई नियम नहीं।

शहरवाली साथ के  रंजन नाहर, अजय बोथरा एवं रविन्द्र श्रीमाल के अलावा जौहरी साथ के नरेंद्र पर्सन एवं सुशिल रायसुराणा एवं मारवाड़ी साथ के थानमल बोथरा व कमल सिंह रामपुरिया कोलकाता बड़े मंदिर में ट्रस्टी के रूप में चुने गए.

उल्लेखनीय तथ्य ये है की कई दिग्गज भी इस चुनाव में हार गए जिनमे से अखिल भारतीय खरतर गच्छ महासंघ के संस्थापक सदस्य ज्ञानचंद लुनावत एवं महासंघ के पूर्व अध्यक्ष पदमचंद नाहटा जैसे लोग भी सम्मिलित हैं. ये दोनों ही महानुभाव मारवाड़ी साथ के हैं.

इस चुनाव में जोहरी साथ के केवल दो ही व्यक्ति खड़े हुए थे और दोनों ने ही जीत दर्ज़ की जबकि शहरवाली समाज के चार में से तीन. मारवाड़ी साथ से ७-८ लोग खड़े हुए थे परन्तु केवल २ ही जीत पाए.

सभी ७ निर्वाचित प्रतिनिधियों को बहुत बहुत वधाई देते हुए यह आशा करता हूँ की ये सभी लोग मंदिर की व्यवस्था को सुचारु रूप से चलाते हुए जिन शासन की प्रभावना करते रहेंगे।
