Dear all Shaharwalis,
ReplyDeleteI have created this blog to collect and preserve the history and rich culture of Shaharwali society of Azimgabj-Jiaganj-Murshidabad.
Our society is scattered now and this can be proved as a meeting place for all.
I know Shaharwali people living at different places in India such as Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Raipur, Jaipur,Tejpur, Patna, Kanpur, Lucknow, Palitana etc.
Many of us are living overseas too e.g. New York, London, Moscow, Doha, Bangkok, Tokyo, Edinborough (USA) etc.
It is very difficult for all of them to be connected. This blog can be a common meeting place for all of them. This can be happened only with your active co-operation.
I, therefore, urge all of you to send information, news, events, photographs, videos and what not. Please also include your web sites and E-mail addresses here so that Shaharwali people can know and connect with each other.
Thanks,
Jyoti Kothari
